In the rankings of the best 10 cars based on braking performance, Brembo braking systems definitely play a prominent role. Brembo brakes are the best in the world of competitions, as demonstrated by the Nascar, Formula 1 and IndyCar championships, won by cars equipped with Brembo braking components. But on street legal vehicles, they also provide performance unmatched by the competition. The 10 best cars selected by Car&Driver are represented collectively by 23 different equipment packages that we placed in order based on braking performance: for each one, the distance covered to bring the vehicle to a complete stop from a speed of 70 miles per hour was measured.
