Brembo North America excels in the FCA supplier diversity program

3/15/2019

The FCA supplier diversity program is a program designed to encourage FCA suppliers to utilize minority owned companies. Suppliers are then measured by the amount of business they source to minority owned companies

FCA US LLC supplier diversity program is an initiative aimed at connecting its purchasing organization with minority, women and veteran owned businesses by providing customized training, learning and development, and networking opportunities. One event that Brembo participates in is the FCA MatchMaker event. The event is a trade show type event that provides minority-owned, women-owned and veteran-owned businesses access to FCA leadership and buyers, tier one suppliers and leaders from advocacy and certifying organizations. The MatchMaker event has generated more than $3.0 billion in new business opportunities for minority, women and veteran-owned companies since 2000.

FCA tier one suppliers (such as BNA) are measured by the amount of business that they source to minority, women and veteran owned businesses. Brembo attained Green status for 2018, which means that we have met all of the expectations for sourcing, as well as participation in the MatchMaker and supplier diversity training programs.
