Touring

Excellent performance at all times

Touring bikes are conceived for long journeys and require a braking system that is comfortable, durable and capable of offering excellent performance at all times. Brembo designs and manufactures braking systems that not only respond fully to these requisites, but also focus on other important aspects such as simple maintenance, durability and design.

Brembo braking systems for touring bikes generally consist of radial-mount fixed calipers featuring a larger friction surface area for extended durability, and fixed or floating discs in diameters up to 320 mm. The master cylinders used are generally axial units with an integrated reservoir, which allows for a more elegant design and greater coherence with the rest of the controls located on the handlebar.
Both front and rear master cylinders are also available with an internal valve designed specifically for use with ABS systems.

Ducati Multistrada 1200 S

Hassle-free tourism

Long journeys demand a reliable, comfortable and durable braking system. And the Ducati Multistrada 1200 S achieves these features thanks to Brembo’s brake system inspired by Superbikes: the PR 16 racing pump operates on two 330 mm diameter front discs and M50 pillar calipers all by Brembo and used in sports competitions. The rear wheel ass a single 265 mm disc triggered by a Brembo 2 x 28 floating caliper with sintered pads.

KTM 1190 Adventure

Braking power, precision and comfort

Precise, powerful and fade-free: Optimal braking for the 1190 Adventure is assured by Brembo components of the highest quality, including 320 mm discs, fixed calipers with a radial mount and 4 radial pistons, as well as a radial pump for the front brake. All this is achieved without affecting the comfort of those who prefer a relaxed driving style.

KTM Duke 690 R

Braking is nothing without modular control

A single-cylinder 70 HP bike is not easy to keep at under firm control, especially since it weighs less than 150 kilos.
The extremely powerful Brembo brakes mounted on the Duke ensure extraordinary modular control. The front has a 4-piston fixed caliper with a radial mount and is driven by a radial brake pump. The outcome is a record-breaking modular braking control achieved not the least thanks to the rear brake pump and 240 mm Brembo rear disc.
