Organic and external line growth are the two stimuli in Brembo’s development model. Following are the main stages in the growth path of Brembo from recent years, with investments and disinvestments in bold.



- 20 october 2016: Brembo inaugurates new brake plant and announces additional new iron foundry plant in Escobedo (Mexico);

- 19 May 2016: Acquisition of a 66% stake in Asimco Meilian Braking Systems finalised;

- 29 September 2015: Brembo entered into an agreement to purchase 66% of ASIMCO Meilian Braking Systems, a company producing braking discs in the Beijing area;

- 12 June 2015: The Group announces the sale of its stake (65%) in Sabelt S.p.A. to the current minority shareholders;

- 2 December 2014: Brembo to invest $39 million for a new production plant in Mexico;

- 23 July 2014: Brembo to invest € 74 Million to build a new foundry in the USA;

- 18 July 2014: Stanziati cinque milioni di euro per l’ammodernamento della Fonderia di ghisa di Mapello;

- 08 August 2013: The remaining 30% stake acquired from the Chinese partner Donghua. The agreement leads to the full control of the Chinese company and the complete integration of the Nanjing industrial hub;

- 21 June 2013: Brembo to invest €115 million to expand in the United States and Brazil;
