This new family of discs features a special protective surface coating, paired with highly innovative brake pads, enriching Brembo’s offering for drivers who prioritize care and efficiency. This solution has been specifically engineered to combine reduced environmental impact with maximum performance and safety, leveraging advanced materials and modern technologies throughout the development process.

 

Electric or plug-in Ford vehicles feature a regenerative deceleration system, which uses the electric motor to slow the car. Consequently, a significant portion of deceleration during driving is handled directly by the electric drivetrain, resulting in less frequent use of the traditional hydraulic braking system. Over time, this condition can cause harmful corrosion of the friction components, compromising not only longevity but also overall performance and safety.

The new components are not only quieter and more corrosion-resistant but also offer superior operational life, with clear sustainability benefits. The Brembo Beyond Greenance KIT consists of a disc made from a special metal alloy that ensures high wear resistance, and a pad with a compound specifically formulated to optimize interaction with the Greenance disc.
Directly derived from continuous innovation in the original equipment sector, the Brembo Beyond Greenance KIT combines maximum braking performance with a reduced environmental impact, while simultaneously increasing the lifespan of the discs themselves.
