    Key benefits

    Eye-catching finishing

UV paint provides a bright and pleasant appearance to the disc, adding a touch of elegance to your vehicle while also granting a superior resistance to corrosion.

    Eco-conscious solution

Brembo’s UV coating process is environmentally conscious. Unlike traditional solvent-based coatings, UV coatings are water-based, minimizing harmful emissions and reducing energy consumption (0,08kwh/disc compared to 4,67kWh of a common aftermarket disc).

    Resistance

The resistance of the disc to corrosion, humidity and temperature is superior to any other products on the market. Corrosion resistance is proven by tests in a salt spray chamber.

    Your questions, answered

What is the purpose of UV coating?

UV Coating finishing is not only a process that gives a bright aspect to your brake discs, but it allows the braking surface to be protected from corrosion, even after installation.

When is it time to replace discs?

We recommend checking your brakes every 15,000/20,000 kilometres. However, if your vehicle exhibits signs of vibration, a prompt check-up is highly recommended. Signs of worn or deteriorated brake discs include: braking noise, vibrations, deep circular lines or cracks on the braking band, and overheating. In alla these cases, we recommend you visit your trusted mechanic.

Can I replace just the disc, without the pads?

Brake pads and brake discs work together so they must be checked and replaced regularly. However, it is important to remember that when the brake discs are replaced, the brake pads must also be changed. On the contrary, the brake pads can be replaced without changing the brake discs, as long as these are not too worn (thickness of the braking band is near the limit established). Brake pads wear down faster than brake discs. Under normal conditions, a set of brake pads lasts half the duration of a brake disc.

How can I identify genuine Brembo disc?

Recognizing an original Brembo disc is straightforward, just follow these 3 steps. Firstly, the box should be distinguished by the characteristic Brembo logo on it along with the ECE R 90 certification. Secondly, all Brembo products feature an counterfeit-proof Brembo hologram on the label, and for further authenticity verification, a unique QR Code is provided on the sealed product box. Additionally, you can also find the indication of the minimum thickness (Min.Th.) for disc replacement, on the disc hub, together with the Brembo logo.
