In MotoGP, every detail matters. Every gram, every braking input, every degree of temperature can make a difference.
The new Brembo GP4 is the result of continuous research and development at the highest level of motorcycle racing. Every element has been optimized to achieve an even more advanced balance of lightness, stiffness, performance and reliability.

Radical evolution. Proven foundations.
The new GP4 represents a major evolution while retaining the key elements of the current MotoGP platform.
It maintains the same hydraulic architecture and uses the same brake pads and discs as the current solution. Its mounting points also make it fully interchangeable. Material and surface finish remain unchanged.
This allowed Brembo to rethink the caliper where performance could be gained while preserving an already proven technical foundation.
Every gram has a purpose
Nothing on the new GP4 is there by chance.
The caliper body has been re-engineered through a precise process of material optimization. Milling, openings and strategically positioned holes remove material where it is not needed, while preserving it where structural performance matters most.
The result is a lighter, stiffer architecture in which every surface responds to a specific engineering requirement.
Cooling, built into the design
Thermal management is an integral part of the new GP4 architecture.
Its geometries, openings and machining have been developed to contribute to the overall efficiency of the braking system without dedicated cooling solutions.
The holes integrated into the caliper body serve a dual purpose: reducing weight and promoting ventilation. At the same time, they become one of the most distinctive visual signatures of the new GP4.
Born from racing. Built to move braking forward.
First unveiled to the public at EICMA 2026, the new GP4 represents the next step in Brembo’s continuous pursuit of braking performance.
From research and development to the racetrack, MotoGP is where ideas are tested at the limit and engineering knowledge evolves fastest.
In 2027, that evolution takes another step forward.
