Brake discs: Safety, performance and comfort on every type of motorcycle

An expression of Brembo technical and quality excellence, Serie Oro discs dominate the sector. In the "fixed" and "floating" versions, they can be installed in place of the original standard discs on your Honda without any modifications.

Brembo Serie Oro – Fixed Disc

Machined from a single piece of stainless steel, the Serie Oro fixed discs follow design and construction criteria that meet extremely tight tolerances, with manufacturing cycles that ensure the best flatness and concentricity characteristics.

Brembo’s extensive experience has made it possible to define the most accurate geometries, tolerances and dimensions for each type of motorcycle and use. In fact, thanks to a specific study of machining tolerances, the special design of Brembo discs transmits braking torque more effectively, while also offering greater resistance to thermal and mechanical stress.

It was Serie Oro that brought Brembo into motorsport in the mid-1970s, and in a short time that product became the absolute benchmark for brake discs in the sector.

The Serie Oro Floating Disc

The use of materials selected from the best available enables Brembo Serie Oro floating discs to deliver outstanding performance for Honda models. The stainless steel braking band is joined to the CNC-machined and anodized aluminum alloy bell by means of 10 drive bobbins.

The technical expertise Brembo has built up over the years has made it possible to identify the most suitable geometries, tolerances, and dimensions for every type of motorcycle and use. Thanks to a targeted study of machining tolerances, the special geometry of Brembo discs enables braking torque to be transmitted more efficiently, while also ensuring greater resistance to thermal and mechanical stress.

Serie Oro is the product with which Brembo entered the world of racing in the mid-1970s, quickly becoming the absolute benchmark in the sector in the disc segment.

Brake pads: with Brembo, you get the most in terms of performance, comfort and durability.

Brembo pads are available for Honda models, with a wide range of compounds: from organic to sintered, up to carbon-ceramic. Brembo thus meets the specific needs of every type of motorcycle - racing, road, city, off-road - and the expectations of every rider.

Carbon Ceramic and Genuine Sinter
Developed by Brembo and chosen by motorcycle manufacturers for original equipment, these materials are the basis of Genuine pads, available in different compounds with different friction coefficients. For sintered, the coefficient ranges from 50 to 99; for carbon-ceramic, from 10 to 49: the higher the value, the higher the compound’s friction coefficient.

SA compound
This is a sintered compound for front tyre applications, distinguished by excellent efficiency in every condition of use. It is therefore the ideal solution to replace original Honda pads, both when cold and when hot. This compound ensures good friction coefficient stability in various conditions of use and reduced wear.

LA compound
Recognisable by the white backing plate, the LA compound is a sintered solution dedicated to the front axle, designed for road use. It offers excellent performance in every condition of use: the Sinter component guarantees your Honda a high friction coefficient both when cold and when hot, with excellent responsiveness and good braking stability. The average pad life exceeds that of the SA compound by about 30%.

CC compound
Developed from the organic compound with a higher carbon content, CC offers high mileage for all Honda models and good performance both when hot and when cold, on dry and wet surfaces.

SP compound
This sintered compound is designed specifically for rear tyre applications: stable in every condition of use, it combines limited wear that guarantees Honda models adequate durability and mileage.

XS compound
The sintered XS compound can be used both at the front and at the rear. It was created with the aim of equipping the latest-generation maxi scooters and is characterised by extremely easy bedding-in. It guarantees high stability as speed changes, even in urban use, where the typical braking of a scooter is different from that of a motorcycle.

CC compound
The semi-metallic organic compound shows lower friction coefficient values than the XS compound but guarantees high stability and modulation and is particularly suitable for small- and medium-displacement scooters.

TT compound
Thanks to its high modulation, semi-metallic matrix Carbon Ceramic is the ideal solution for off-road use, especially on surfaces with low grip.

Brembo brake calipers: where performance meets design and comfort

Brembo aluminium calipers, thanks to exclusive manufacturing technologies, offer all Honda models a high level of performance in terms of braking power, control and comfort, together with a design unmatched in the motorcycle world.

Cutting-edge design and production ensure a lightweight, compact caliper body with high rigidity values, while the careful design of the hydraulic components enhances the power and modulation features that have always distinguished Brembo calipers.

The use of the finest aluminium alloys and distinctive machining techniques, together with constant innovation in design, gives Brembo calipers exceptional rigidity, enabling consistently incisive braking, a very short response time and constant lever travel.

Brembo fixed calipers are offered with radial or axial mounts, while floating calipers are available with one or two pistons. For models with a more sporting character, the exclusive monobloc technology guarantees top-level performance with weight reduced to a minimum.

Brembo calipers in cast and anodised aluminium stand out for the range of colours available (black, gold, aluminium, titanium) and for a design refined down to the smallest detail, capable of enhancing the aesthetics of any equipped motorcycle.

These are some of the most iconic Brembo calipers available for Honda models:

Brembo M50 – Monobloc caliper

First introduced in 2011 on the Ducati 1199 Panigale, the M50 is Brembo’s quintessential monobloc caliper. The "M" stands precisely for monobloc technology, launched by Brembo in MotoGP in 1994: the caliper body is machined from a single piece of cast aluminium to ensure optimal structural rigidity.

Stylema

The Stylema caliper, in addition to featuring a caliper body that is 9% lighter than previous models with the same stiffness, guarantees Honda models unrivalled performance and consistency over time: the average friction coefficient has increased by 11% thanks to a pad made from an innovative material. Through the study of shapes, evident in the innovative opening in the central bridge, the brake fluid temperature is reduced by up to 10%, keeping effectiveness unchanged over time. In addition to functionality, the styling lines of the Stylema harmonise with the profiles of supersport motorcycles.

Hypure Brake Caliper

The Brembo Hypure front brake caliper was created to significantly reduce weight without sacrificing stiffness, delivering direct benefits for the motorcycle’s handling and performance. Its asymmetrical design reduces weight by 10% compared with benchmark calipers for the same application, making it the lightest component in its category. This benefits the motorcycle’s agility and reduces unsprung inertia, a key factor for precise, responsive riding. High stiffness remains intact, resulting in superior braking performance and optimal control.

Brake and clutch master cylinders: maximum controllability in every condition of use

For your Honda, Brembo brake master cylinders ensure braking that is consistently responsive and controllable in all conditions. The ergonomics are carefully designed to guarantee maximum linearity of behaviour at all times.

The body of Brembo master cylinders is made of cast or die-cast aluminium, a material that combines lightness, strength and excellent aesthetic finishes. Availability in versions with separate or integrated reservoirs broadens the range of options. The offering includes front radial or axial master cylinders, rear master cylinders and clutch master cylinders.
The main strength of Brembo brake master cylinders lies above all in their exceptional controllability.

The extensive experience gained in designing hydraulic, kinematic and ergonomic components makes it possible to significantly reduce friction in movement and achieve greater resistance to flexing.
The result is extraordinary linearity between the force applied by the rider to the lever and the braking response, giving braking an unmistakable and unrivalled feel.

DOT 4 LOW VISCOSITY brake fluid: THE IDEAL SOLUTION FOR YOUR Honda

Designed for every daily driving situation, DOT 4 Low Viscosity fluid is particularly suitable for latest-generation vehicles equipped with electronic braking and stability control systems such as ABS, TCS, and EBD. Its key strength is its extremely low viscosity.

Featuring a 34 mm braking band and an increased thickness of 5.5 mm, Supersport discs are interchangeable with the original ones without requiring any modifications.

Fully floating discs: the heat-treated steel braking band withstands extreme thermomechanical stress, while the bell is machined from solid aluminium alloy.

The Groove

Fully floating discs, with a heat-treated steel rotor band engineered to withstand the most intense thermo-mechanical stresses and a billet aluminium alloy bell. The red Brembo logo—an unmistakable element—is recessed between the spokes of the brake disc bell. Uncompromising quality and inimitable style.

Brake pads: High friction and no fading

Brake pads are the smallest solid component of the braking system, but they are among the most heavily stressed: it is therefore essential to choose the right compound for your Honda, especially if you cover hundreds of kilometres in a single ride and tens of thousands every year.

Based on a sintered compound for sporty use on track and on the road, Brembo SR brake pads maintain consistent braking from the beginning to the end of every session thanks to their excellent friction coefficient and stability at high temperatures, ensuring high performance in all road conditions as well.

Brake Calipers: everyday riding pleasure and style

The pinnacle of technological evolution in braking systems, Xtra brake calipers offer Honda models powerful, precise, and consistent braking in all conditions. Developed on the track and ideal for the road as well, they ensure an uncompromising sporty feel. In the Off-Road sector, it is the pad with the highest friction coefficients, capable of ensuring maximum efficiency and consistent performance in any condition, with particular reference to high temperatures and the harshest environments (mud, water, and sand).

Upgrade Brake Discs: Brembo racing technology for the road

The brake discs in the Brembo Upgrade family stand out for their unmistakable racing look and deliver the highest performance for Honda models in every situation.

The T-drive disc, the result of experience gained in MotoGP™ and Superbike™, introduces an innovative coupling system between the rotor and bell, consisting of eight “T”-shaped pins machined into the disc and eight corresponding seats on the bell, making it possible to eliminate the drive bobbins.
The specific tolerance analysis behind this solution enables a significant reduction in weight and radial and axial float capable of transmitting greater braking torque.

Resistance to thermomechanical stress is another quality of this disc, which stands out above all in the most severe conditions of use, such as racing. T-drive discs are compatible with the most widespread maxisport bikes, with no modifications required.

Brake calipers: Aesthetics and everyday driving pleasure

UPGRADE brake calipers dominate on the track with absolute control in the most extreme conditions of speed and temperature. High-performance materials, precision machining, and a compact, lightweight design to reduce unsprung mass: the result is prompt response, superior braking power, and markedly improved vehicle dynamics — lap after lap.

Brembo GP4-MS

Like the Brembo calipers used in MotoGP™, the GP4-MS is designed through topological optimization and made from a billet aluminum monoblock: compared with casting, it offers greater resistance to high temperatures and, as a result, enhanced performance.

The GP4-MS shares the nickel surface finish of racing calipers. The double seal — one inside the piston, a second acting as a dust seal — removes the need for periodic overhauls, which are instead typical of track calipers.

Brembo GP4-RS

The GP4-RS, also monobloc and manufactured using a complex casting technique with fins around the pistons, is a further option for a significant upgrade of the standard braking system. For the two-piece radial calipers with aluminium alloy body, the GP4-RB and GP4-RX each offer 4 pistons. At the rear, the two-piece billet GP2-CR and GP2-SS with 2 34 mm pistons are both an excellent solution for lightness and rigidity.

The GP4-MS Caliper (finned)

GP4-MS (finned) – The Brembo GP4-MS is a brake caliper born on the track for road use, combining monobloc technology with aluminium machining from solid. This specific process makes it possible to use materials with superior mechanical properties and greater resistance even under extreme operating conditions. The GP4-MS expands the range with a new 100 mm fixing version.

The rib in the front section, which embraces 4 aluminium pistons, ensures maximum rigidity for the system. The cooling fins introduced on the outer body optimise the heat exchange of the braking system, promoting cooling.

GP4-MotoGP™

From track to road without compromise: the GP4-MotoGP™ adapts to the needs of modern motorcycles and the most demanding enthusiasts. Like the calipers used by professionals in MotoGP™ and SBK™, it is a finned monobloc caliper machined from solid aluminium, with nickel plating and a new design.

The diagonal sliding of the pads, derived from MotoGP™ technology, increases braking torque with the same force on the lever: the performance of the GP4-MotoGP™ is unmatched. The ventilation fins on the outer body and the new racing pistons optimise system cooling. The striking design is further enhanced by the nickel finish, which gives the caliper a bright and refined appearance.

Brake Master Cylinders: Unmatched Modulation  for Maximum Responsiveness

The brake and clutch master cylinders in the UPGRADE range are the ideal solution for those who accept no compromise in control, precision, and responsiveness. Developed to deliver consistent performance even under extreme stress, they ensure flawless modulation and instant response in every situation. The use of lightweight, durable materials combined with technical solutions derived from the racing world gives each component direct feel and absolute reliability. A perfect connection between rider and motorcycle, designed for those who approach every corner as if it were the next victory.

The origins

The Brembo radial brake master cylinder is designed to ensure superior responsiveness and more modulated braking in every riding condition. The excellent linearity between force applied to the lever and braking response creates a unique and unrivalled feeling. The master cylinder body in aluminium alloy can be forged with CNC machining, or machined entirely from billet for the ultimate expression of technology and performance.

For the surface finish, oxidation normally used in MotoGP™ and Superbike™ has been chosen. Brembo radial master cylinders are available with pistons of different diameters and with different lever centre distances, to meet the rider’s personalised needs. For maximum feeling, the levers are also available, in STD and folding versions, in different lengths.

RCS radial: superior feeling on road and track

Brembo RCS radial master cylinders — for brake and clutch — bring technology developed in the racing world directly to your bike, guaranteeing unrivalled levels of precision, modulation and control.

The Brembo RCS radial brake master cylinder offers the possibility to choose between powerful or more modulated braking, depending on road conditions, the weather, personal sensitivity and your feeling with the bike. Thanks to the innovative adjustment system, this patented brake master cylinder, derived directly from the one used in MotoGP™, makes it possible to adapt the same master cylinder to the different needs of riders, including the most demanding. Created with the precise objective of bringing MotoGP™ and Superbike™ technology to the wider public, the Brembo RCS radial master cylinder represents a new frontier in high-performance brake components, both in technical content and style.

The RCS system adjuster allows the lever centre distance to be set to 18 or 20 mm: at 20 mm braking is more responsive and immediate, while at 18 mm it is more modulated. The change is quick and intuitive: the eccentric system with colour code (red 18 mm, black 20 mm) requires only a screwdriver and a 180° turn of the adjuster. The distribution of braking force changes, while pure power remains unchanged.

The piston, seals and push rod of the RCS master cylinders are the same as those used by the vast majority of MotoGP™ and Superbike™ riders, characterised by extremely tight machining tolerances and excellent smoothness.

The RCS radial master cylinder is available in two versions: with a 19 mm or 15 mm diameter piston. The 19RCS must be used on dual-disc systems with 4-piston non-floating calipers, while the 15RCS can be fitted on single-disc systems with a 4-piston caliper or on dual-disc systems with floating-type calipers. For road use of the brake master cylinder, a specific microswitch has been provided to activate the brake light.

RCS Corsa Corta, the evolution

The RCS CorsaCorta embodies the most sophisticated evolution of Brembo radial technology, derived directly from experience in MotoGP™ championships. Available in brake and clutch versions, it introduces an even more advanced level of customization than the traditional RCS.

The RCS CORSA CORTA represents a further development of the radial master cylinder concept, combining numerous innovations with the technical solutions of MotoGP™ master cylinders. The main innovation lies in the rider’s ability to adjust the position of the brake engagement point, the “bite point”, according to the desired riding feel, using a selector located on the upper part of the master cylinder and therefore easily accessible. Through an eccentric device, the selector allows the rider to choose among three feeling maps:
NORMAL Map (N) – for a more gradual initial phase, suitable for city riding or low-grip surfaces;
SPORT Map (S) – shortens the initial phase compared with the N setting, offering a more dynamic response for sporty riding;
RACE Map (R) – reduces the initial phase to the minimum value, equal to that of MotoGP™ master cylinders, ideal for riding with a pronounced racing appeal that cuts hundredths off braking times.

RCS CORSA CORTA RR
The RCS CorsaCorta RR represents the pinnacle of Brembo radial technology, derived directly from MotoGP™ and Superbike™ competition. Available in brake and clutch versions, this Race Replica master cylinder is machined from solid and designed to deliver the utmost in performance, precision, and sensitivity.

The hard black anodized surface finish gives the master cylinder body remarkable wear resistance and smooth component movement. The floating piston and seals are the same as those used in MotoGP™, as are the seats of the bleeding and supply system, which, inclined by more than 30°, make bleeding the master cylinder easier.

While updated in shape, the lever retains the features that made it famous among enthusiasts. The selector on the upper part of the master cylinder allows the rider to customize the "bite point" by choosing among the three feeling maps (Normal, Sport, Race).

A distinctive feature of the new RCS CORSA CORTA RR is the new-generation Brembo logo, with softer, more rounded shapes designed to connect with digital-native generations.
