Brembo is revolutionizing GT category braking with a new system set to debut in the 2026 WEC. The 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans served as the stage for the launch of this completely redesigned platform, engineered to deliver maximum performance, reliability, and integration. Born from Brembo’s vision and close dialogue with racing teams, this solution represents the future of racing braking.

Innovation on Four Fronts

The new braking system features a newly designed front caliper and rear caliper, a completely redesigned brake disc, and a master cylinder specifically developed to be fully compatible with the latest ABS systems.

Front Axle: Maximum Stiffness, Maximum Control

At the heart of the system is the new 6-piston forged monobloc front caliper, designed to work with discs up to 400 mm x 36 mm. Structural stiffness has been increased by 10%, enabling a more direct and consistent response even under extreme loads. The high-rollback pistons ensure more effective retraction, reducing wear and improving pedal feel.

The caliper is also available with an Airduct Design, a solution that optimizes airflow management and enhances targeted cooling.

Rear axle: Compactness and Versatility

Completely redesigned, the rear caliper features a forged 4-piston monobloc body with 8% greater stiffness compared to the previous version. Its design includes a dual mounting point to optimize integration with a wide range of suspension configurations. Capable of accommodating discs up to 360 mm x 32 mm, it is also available with the innovative Airduct Design—just like the front caliper—to maximize cooling efficiency.

Discs That Make the Difference

Ventilation is a crucial aspect for a racing braking system, and the new Brembo front discs prove it: 168 ventilation channels maximize cooling and keep temperatures under control even during the most critical moments and long race stints. This technical choice increases system durability and reduces the risk of fading.

A New Master Cylinder, Ready for ABS

Completing the circle of innovation is the new master cylinder, engineered to perfectly integrate with the sophisticated ABS systems of the LMGT3. The result? A driving experience that delivers absolute control and flawless modulation, elevating the driver’s feel to new levels in any condition.
