From dirt roads to legendary circuits, Brembo has surpassed the milestone of 700 world titles won in its history, thanks to a successful 2024 season in which vehicles equipped with Brembo braking systems secured 69 world titles.

2024 has further enriched Brembo's extraordinary record with some of the most important world titles in motorsport disciplines.

In particular, in Formula 1, Max Verstappen (Oracle Red Bull Racing) won his fourth consecutive World Championship, using Brembo calipers and discs. This marks Brembo's thirtieth driver’s championship in its history. Brembo once again dominated Formula 1: all 24 races of 2024 were won by vehicles equipped with its brakes. Since 1975, the Bergamo-based company has accumulated 531 victories in 851 Grand Prix races, securing 30 driver titles and 34 constructors’ titles alongside the strongest teams in the sport.

In MotoGP, Jorge Martin’s (Prima Pramac Racing) success with the full Brembo braking system and Marchesini wheels brings the total of championships won in the top category (formerly 500cc, now MotoGP) of the World Championship to 36. Brembo’s undisputed dominance continues in MotoGP, with successes extending to Moto2, Moto3, and World Superbike (also with Marchesini). Since 1978, Brembo has secured 592 victories in the premier class (500cc and MotoGP), underscoring its excellence. For the ninth consecutive year, all MotoGP riders have chosen the performance and safety of the components produced by the Italian company. With 36 rider titles and 37 constructors' titles won with top teams, Brembo is synonymous with innovation and victory in the world of two wheels.

In the WorldSBK championship, where Toprak Razgatlıoğlu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) returned to victory, an additional piece is added to Brembo’s extraordinary winning streak in the world championship for production-based motorcycles. Out of 37 editions since the inception of the championship, Brembo has triumphed in all 37 years (specifically, 33 times with the rider’s title and every time with the constructors’ title).

Noteworthy in the 2024 record are the victories of Ai Ogura (MT Helmets MSI) in Moto2, David Alonso (CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team) in Moto3, the victory in the WRC, and the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. Thierry Neuville’s first WRC World Championship (Hyundai Motorsport) highlights the reliability and performance of Brembo’s braking systems in rally competitions, which alternate between asphalt and dirt.

2024 also consolidates Brembo’s dominance in electric motorsport. For the sixth consecutive season, all 22 full-electric Gen3 cars in the FIA Formula E and the 18 Ducati electric bikes in the FIM MotoE World Cup relied on the excellence of Brembo braking systems. In addition to the aforementioned championships in Formula 1, Formula E, MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and WSBK, it’s important to also mention the WEC, GT, IMSA, EWC, Gen-7 Car, MXGP, Enduro, Trial, Formula 2, Formula 3, WRC, Super Formula, MotoAmerica, Porsche Mobil1 Supercup, and many others, bringing the total to over 700 world titles won from 1975 to today in various categories.ms.
