At Goodwood, on the occasion of the presentation of the new Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign, Brembo has introduced for the first time a new red for its caliper, colour exclusively created for this car.

This particular nuance of red is synonymous with high performance and contributes to highlight the characteristics of this vehicle fitted with Brembo calipers.

Applied for the first time 25 years ago, the use of colour reinforces the distinctive character of the equipped car, as for the new Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign. In this prototype the aggressive design is highlighted also by more open alloy wheels that more easily show the braking system and its components.

In addition, from a technical point of view, the Brembo caliper applied on the new GT-R50 by Italdesign is a top performance component, using a front 6 piston monobloc caliper and a 2 piece floating drilled disc 390x32,6 mm; and a rear 4 piston monobloc caliper and a 2 piece floating drilled disc 380x30mm. Both brake discs are racing inspired.

Brembo, before anyone else in the world, gave the product an aesthetic dignity through attention to the “shape” and colour elements, something that had been unthinkable up to that time.

By so doing, Brembo changed the status of braking component, redefining its functionality and actually creating the conditions for a new need: the need to have an excellent and immediately recognisable caliper on a special car, as Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign is.
