 Brembo triumphs at the 8 hours of Suzuka



The Italian Company leader in the production of braking systems equipped 70% of 68 teams participating in the competition


Excellent performance and victory for Brembo at the 8 Hours of Suzuka, where Yamaha driven by riders K. Nakasuga, P. Espargaro, A. Lowes triumphed.

The motorcycle was equipped with all braking components of the Italian Company and Marchesini wheels. Kawasaki, always with Brembo systems and Marchesini wheels, crossed the finish line in second position, while Suzuki Yoshimura classified in third position, with the same braking system.

 

 
 


All official Japanese motorcycles Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki were equipped with Brembo material, that has provided with a total of 46 teams.

Among them, 8 top teams used “Endurance 24” calipers specified developed for this kind of races. The same were used with 17 or 18 master cylinders according to riders preferences.

It was successfully introduced the evolved version of “Endurance 24” with varied geometry in the upper part of the body caliper to allow less interference in the wheel change, especially with 16.5” wheels.


 



Still widespread Brembo calipers of “Endurance” family, that show the strength of the project as years go by.

Yamaha and Kawasaki official teams used t-drive type Brembo discs with 305 mm diameter, while Suzuki team chose Brembo discs with 320 mm diameter.

Excellent performance also for Marchesini wheels, used by the majority of participant teams. Marchesini is a Brembo group brand specialised in manufacturing sophisticated forged magnesium and aluminium wheels, with products used by teams winning numerous past editions of the MotoGP and WSBK Championships.
