At the forefront of environmental sustainability

Brembo has been identified as a global leader in corporate response to climate change and has been awarded a position on this year's Climate A List by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).

The list was created by CDP, a non-profit global environmental disclosure platform, which assists companies in measuring and managing information on climate change.

The 2017 Climate A List is comprised of 106 global companies, and is published alongside similar lists for corporate leadership on conserving water and forests.

The Climate A List has been produced at the request of 827 investors with assets of over U.S. $100 trillion.

Thousands of companies submit annual climate disclosures to CDP for independent assessment against its scoring methodology. Out of the thousands of companies around the world who submit their environmental data every year through the CDP independent assessment process, approximately 100 make the "A List ".

Brembo is now a member of the limited group of companies that fully belong to Climate A List 2017 - in recognition of its commitment to cut emissions, mitigate climate risks and the development of a low-carbon economy.

Cristina Bombassei, chief CSR Officer, commented:
"Being part of the Climate A List is a prestigious acknowledgment of the efforts and commitment of all Brembo and the CSR team, in particular the Energy and Environmental Area of Antonella Tondini, who has always been dedicated to the sustainability of our business. Even though it represents a significant milestone, we want to consider it as just one of many steps in a path that we will pursue with determination to foster the sustainable development of this sector and the collective well-being."
