On the occasion of the 2024 Fuorisalone in Milan, Brembo presents 12 brake calipers in the exclusive Sesia&Co. colors, specially designed for the world of interior design, transforming these components into authentic furnishing elements. The result of in-depth study and Sesia&Co.'s dedication to perfection, these colors allow combinations of materials and monochromatic or multicolored solutions, always maintaining a high aesthetic harmony.
This project highlights the distinctive design of Brembo calipers as a functional braking component, but also as an object worthy of being displayed in a unique and exclusive context outside of its traditional placement, retaining its own identity and managing to maintain a balance with the surrounding spaces.
Those who choose Brembo know that not all calipers are equal in terms of materials, craftsmanship, and finishes. In addition to excelling in performance, reliability, and technology, Brembo calipers are also distinguished by their characteristic color.
Primary and secondary colors, analogous and complementary, brightness and saturation: the study of color is a continuous research. A challenge that Brembo has been able to grasp since the early 1990s, turning color into an identifying trait of its brake calipers. Red is the most iconic, but there are over 150 color solutions available. For example, shades of yellow and gold are often synonymous with systems with carbon-ceramic brake discs, while the different shades of blue combine sportiness and elegance, not to mention all the available shades of gray.
As proof of its attention to the study and use of color, Brembo, for the 2024 Fuorisalone, has participated in this Sesia&Co. project, which also involves Boffi|DePadova, an iconic Italian brand in the world of designer furniture, and Kep.Italia, a leading company in the production of riding helmets.
The creative and aesthetic coordination of the Sesia&Co. partnership with Brembo and Kep. Italia was curated by Simona Tagliaferri, and the project has been presented, together with Boffi|DePadova, during the 2024 Fuorisalone at Sesia&Co., Palazzo Bocconi - Corso Venezia 48, Milan.
