Making space for engineers
Brembo is always on the lookout for specialised personnel, and, in particular, new graduates in mechanical, management, aeronautical/aerospace and electronic engineering. Indeed, each year, many new engineering graduates begin their career path at Brembo. Brembo offers them structured career paths for each of the three main fields, starting from the following entry positions:
- technical field: designer, project engineer, testing engineer;
- operational field: vice head of department, process engineer, production planning;
- staff area: buyer, junior controller.
Candidates spend an average of about 3 years at entry level, then proceed to consolidate their career within their starting area or build their own inter-departmental pathway by passing from one area to another.
The company promotes the transversal skill of self management by encouraging those who immediately take steps towards defining their own professional plan. To favour the growth of each worker, the company has a long tradition of structured training and development initiatives: an extensive range of training opportunities, comprising courses divided into basic and advanced managerial training, specialist technical training, languages (especially English and German), compulsory courses (safety and the environment) and institutional training.
