MotoGP: USA

5th July 2009 - The next MotoGP Grand Prix will be held in Laguna Seca, United States, for the eight step of the championship. Following the 2008 victory, Valentino Rossi will try to strenghten his lead in the general standings.

The American track, which is 3.602 metres long, has a very peculiar configuration, not found in any other tracks of the championship. With a series of fast corners and short straights, the circuit is also characterized by frequent downhill braking zones.

Braking is particularly harsh on the corkscrew bend, a spectacular combination of turns.

Starting from the night before every race (10 p.m.) click on the circuit identity cards to discover the track's most important brakings.

Brembo equips Ecojet

Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes have been chosen to fit the Ecojet, the latest project created by the famous American journalist Jay Leno’s Big Dog Garage team and GM Advanced Design.

The primary goal in designing the Ecojet was to build a car that ran on environmentally friendly, renewable bio-diesel fuel but still had the performance of a sports car.

The braking system provided by Brembo was first used in North American production on the Corvette ZR1 and is similar to the systems used on the Ferrari Enzo and all the latest Ferrari models.
