Brembo sponsors of the Piano Festival

5/3/2016

Good music moves, seduces and captivates.

Again this year, Brembo supported and sponsored an event of a certain caliber that was held on April 28 at the Donizetti Theater in Bergamo as a part of the 53rd International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo, one of the foremost international piano events where acclaimed orchestras and young, accomplished soloists perform.

The Festival Philharmonic, conducted by Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli, featured pianist Federico Colli, who skillfully reproduced music by Mozart (Piano Concerto K 488), Beethoven (Symphony no. 7 in A major Op. 92) and Haydn (Symphony no. 95 in C minor).

The events in this 53rd edition of the Festival are being held over the course of more than a month, from April 27 to June 4, and are taking place either at the Teatro Grande in Brescia or the Donizetti Theater in Bergamo.

The focus is on the numerous threads that intertwine to form what is referred to as classical, like the title of the event suggests: "Three Faces of Classical Music - Mozart, Haydn, Clementi".

Brembo's sponsorship falls into the wider policy of supporting cultural initiatives in the area.
