Off-road motorcycles demand braking systems with extreme controllability, as grip may vary wildly in off-road conditions. Reduced lever strain and consistent performance in all conditions are also desirable attributes in these applications.
Brembo creates braking systems for off-road bikes with outstanding resistance to shock and adverse weather conditions. Other significant benefits offered by Brembo technology include lightness and simplified maintenance.
For off-road motorcycles, Brembo produces floating dual piston front calipers and fixed discs with diameters from 240 to 260 mm and a maximum thickness of 4 mm, as well as integrated axial master cylinders and rear master cylinders with integrated valve capable of withstanding the high operating pressures sustained during racing.
