The first 50 years of Brembo on exhibit at IAA

​In the Brembo stand visitors will find an area dedicated to the historic products made by the company which is 50 years old this year. A half century long journey in braking systems technology and design, which began with the very first brake disks for cars and motorcycles, passing through the first racing products and arriving at today.

Motorcycles - Aluminium fixed two-piece caliper. It was the first motorcycle caliper designed by Brembo, and fitted as original equipment on on-road vehicles.

Racing motorcycles - Aluminium fixed disc. The solution was adopted to minimise the masses on GP 125 and 250 motorcycles before the advent of carbon discs.

Racing cars - Aluminium fixed two piece caliper. This was Brembo's fisrt caliper for Formula 1.

Cars - Aluminium fixed two-piece caliper. It was derived directly from the first Brembo caliper for Formula 1.

Cars - Monobloc fixed caliper. This was the first road caliper combined with the CCM disc.
