Brembo will participate from the 1st December to the 3rd December at the PRI the annual trade show for new racing technology and products in Orlando, Florida.
In the Orange County Convention Center Brembo will be present with one unique booth (# 1601) for Brembo Racing, High Performance and Sabelt products.
For all visitors a wide range of calipers and discs available in the street and racing program; late model discs; Dirt Late Model Kit; Sprint car kit and a selection of professional racing systems used in ALMS, Grand Am, SCCA.
In response to a growing demand for “race-ready” brake kit, Brembo Racing extended the range of racing calipers available with the addition of a new cast caliper exclusively designed and engineered by Brembo for the club racing market.
Using its successes in the highest levels of road racing, including eleven overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the past 12 years, Brembo - the world leader in brake technology - has designed a two-piece, cast aluminium caliper that is adjustable to accommodate a wide range of discs with diameters ranging from 332-355mm and thicknesses up to 35mm.
Based on proven, championship winning Brembo Racing designs but targeted to privateer teams, the caliper is finished with a hard oxidation treatment to improve resistance to thermal and mechanical stresses typical in the racing world. During the design stage, particular attention was paid to obtaining the best ratio of stiffness and weight reduction using special machining techniques.
The caliper relies on a series of pistons with different diameters designed specifically to accommodate anti-knockoff springs. In addition, the pistons are matched with specific steel radiators to isolate the caliper from heat. Like all Brembo Racing calipers, this design also uses special seals for specific track use. The caliper can accommodate both 2020 and 2022 racing pads shapes (Brembo Racing Pad material also available) that can be replaced quickly thanks to a specially designed “quick-release system”.
The addition of the new caliper has allowed Brembo to extend the number of applications of race-ready brake kits to the most popular touring cars, such as BMW 3 Series, Camaro, Corvette C5/C6, Ford Mustang, Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.
The new kits include calipers, mounting brackets, full floating two-piece discs with aluminum bells and all the necessary hardware. The kits are available through the official network of Brembo distributors.
