EICMA 2011: Brembo OE equipment news for Ducati, Suzuki and CAN-AM

In addition to the M50 caliper, Brembo will introduce other important news at EICMA 2011 regarding OE equipment developed for Ducati, Suzuki and CAN-AM ATVs, also known as Quads.

CALIPER FOR SUZUKI GSX-R 1000
The M4x32 monoblock front caliper for the Suzuki GSX– R 1000 now comes with a gold finish and red logo that combine to give a decidedly racing kind of look. The silver finish M4x32 was unveiled last year on the GSX-R 600 and 750, the first Suzuki road bikes to be equipped with Brembo products. Specified with 4 pistons of 32mm diameter, this stylish caliper is the end-product of a process designed to achieve a lightweight and compact component of superior stiffness.

BYBRE FLOATING CALIPERS FOR CAN-AM QUADS
Brembo strides with confidence into the world of ATVs — All Terrain Vehicles — more popularly known as Quad bikes.
The new range of Outlander (1000/800R) and Renegade are now being equipped with BYBRE two-piston floating calipers (a Brembo Group trade mark), on both the front axle and the rear axle.
These calipers have 2 pistons (26mm diameter) and are coupled to BYBRE brake master cylinders designed specifically for CAN-AM models. The rear brake master cylinder can be operated both mechanically (using the rear pedal) and hydraulically (with power provided by pressurized brake fluid from the master cylinders mounted to the handlebars). With this arrangement, the rider can apply the brakes on all 4 wheels of the vehicle at once, using just one of the controls available (handlebar lever, or pedal).

NEW CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER FOR DUCATI 1199 PANIGALE
New design developed specifically for the clutch slave cylinder installed on the new Ducati superbike. The innovation consists in having eliminated the external cap and seal, achieving a 15% reduction in the dimensions and overall weight of the cylinder. The diameter remains the same as for previous versions: 26 mm.
