Combining safety with design and style is the principle followed by Brembo in developing “Led’s Body”, a revolutionary upgrade product that features the addition of Led direction indicators to the radial brake master cylinder.
Brembo has patented two applications of the product: a “direction indicators” version already on the market, and a “beacon” version yet to go into production, which will be suitable typically for motorcycles used by police forces.
The concept behind this latest innovation is one of combining the safety of Brembo radial brake master cylinders with direction indicators using Led technology, “blended” together in an automotive component of unique styling and futuristic design — a genuine world first in the brake systems sector.
And this is how Brembo celebrates its 50th year in business yet again sparking innovation and launching a new, exciting technological challenge that unites the world of brake systems and the world of luminous warning devices. A combination never attempted previously.
The aim of Brembo, as always, is to “anticipate the market” and meet the needs of the consumer by offering a product of intelligent design, able to enhance the vehicle while also improving its safety, given that direction indicators integrated with the brake master cylinder on the handlebars — higher up than the conventional position — can be seen more easily by motorists and other road users.
Led’s Body, brake and clutch, will be marketed worldwide by Brembo through the company’s own sales network. The product is adaptable to the most popular naked and muscle bikes, such as the Honda CB1000 RR, Ducati Diavel and Ducati Monster, and complies with current type test approval standards (ECE regulation R50 cat.11).
