The Camaro ZL1 equipped with an advanced Brembo braking system

After months of waiting, Chevrolet finally unveiled its all new Camaro ZL1 at the Chicago motor show. With a 550 horsepower 6200 cc V8 engine, the Camaro ZL1 is the highest performance version of the Camaro ever developed, and its high performance is matched by its impressive innovative content and eye-catching design. The aerodynamics has been revised - partly to meet the increased breathing needs of the engine - with a new front bumper with larger air intakes, and a bonnet with carbon fibre inserts and air vents.
As Brembo is already an original equipment supplier for the Camaro SS and Convertible, it comes as no surprise that the Camaro ZL1 is equipped with an advanced Brembo braking system developed in collaboration with Chevrolet's own engineers. At the front are six-piston calipers with 370 mm two-piece discs, while the rear wheels are fitted with four-piston calipers and 365 mm discs.
