Brembo and Ducati - AMG @ IAA

ducati_diavel_amg.jpgWhat does Ducati, an icon in the Italian motorcycle world, have in common with AMG, the Mercedes sports brand?
The brakes, obviously. In fact, both of these manufacturers choose Brembo brakes to equip their super sport vehicles.
But now, besides the common partnership with Brembo, the new Diavel AMG Special Edition is introduced as the first concrete development of co-operation between Ducati and AMG, on display at IAA in Frankfurt and equipped with Brembo brakes.
A true tribute to the prestigious AMG brand, this version is intended for a market of enthusiasts and admirers of the most advanced technology, engineering detail and exclusive and original style which only this kind of partnership can guarantee.
The Diavel AMG Special Edition, built by hand as are all Ducati motorcycles, features a new livery characterised by the matt black carbon tank with longitudinal stripes and a frame realised in the exclusive "Diamond White Bright AMG" colour. The wheels, saddle and the bottom of the exhaust on the Special Edition model are all branded AMG and the AMG logo is laser printed on the air intakes on the side of the tank.

The Diavel front brakes use Brembo’s incredibly powerful Monobloc callipers, which deliver outstanding performance actuated by new integral alloy master cylinders with unique shape reservoirs sporting milled tops. The 4-piston, twin radially-mounted callipers grip 320mm discs, while a single 265mm disc on the rear is gripped by a two piston calliper, also by Brembo.
