Brembo Life Jacket is safer than ever. Helite, which produces the airbag system incorporated in the jacket, guarantees compliance with the requisites of European Directive 89/686/CEE regarding individual protection devices.
The Brembo Airbag system concealed within the jacket is a totally innovative concept: the airbag instantaneously activates when the inertia reel connecting the jacket to the bike senses that the body of the rider is detaching from the saddle at an acceleration indicating that an accident is taking place.
The certification was issued by CRITT Sport Loisirs, an independent organisation recognised by the French Ministry of Work, with its own laboratories authorised to test the safety of sport and leisure products and issue homologation.
