Brembo-equipped teams were the pole sitters in both the Daytona Prototype (DP) and Gran Touring (GT) classes with the #8 Starworks Motorsport Ford/Riley team earning the DP pole while the #59 Brumos Racing Porsche GT3 team set the fastest lap in GT. In fact, Brembo teams were 1-2 in DP and 1-5 in GT qualifying. The new Brembo pads RB340 confirmed their high level of friction and low wear. They belong to a new family of ceramic based friction materials and are specifically designed for Racing applications like the Rolex 24-hour race.
