The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will employ a unique Brembo brake system for the first time in North America, with six-piston, aluminum, monobloc calipers and 14.6-in. (370mm) dual-cast rotors in front and 4-piston, aluminum calipers and 14.4-in. (365mm) one-piece rotors in the rear. Watkins Glen Host the NASCAR Sprint Cup
Former CART Champion Juan Pablo Montoya drove his #42 Target Chevrolet to victory at the Glen; interestingly his only other win coming at Infineon’s road course. Montoya is the only driver to win a CART championship, the Indy 500 and the Rolex 24 at Daytona. American Kurt Busch (Dodge) and Australian Marcos Ambrose (Toyota) shared the Glen podium with Colombian Montoya.That leaves four races to go (Michigan, Dover, Atlanta and Richmond) before the 10-race Chase to the Championship begins at Loudon in New Hampshire on Sept. 19.
