Useful information to obtain the best performance from your motorbike.

REMEMBER:

• to change the brake fluid every two years;
• use brake fluid of pads indicated by the manufacturer;
• to break in new pads and discs gradually; Brembo tests its products over a 200 km breaking-in period, with medium-light braking every km, decelerating from 80 to 30 km/h.

CHECK:

• pad and disc wear;
• brake fluid level in the master cylinder-reservoir;
• brake line condition.

DO NOT:

• overheat the system for an extended time period;
• overfill the brake fluid reservoir: the brake might jam;
• reuse levers involved in collisions;
• restrict the movement of the brake lines or change their position;
• change the disc ventilation conditions (air intakes, guards...);
• disassemble the calipers (loosen the connection screws and/or remove the pistons);
• change the assembly angle of the master cylinder-reservoir assembly.
