Brembo supply the complete braking system for the company’s flagship “Touring” family. The entire braking system, consisting of front and rear callipers with 4 pistons, front and rear master cylinder and three 300 mm front and rear discs, will be supplied by Brembo in place of the previous American supplier.

Brembo can feel justly proud of being awarded this contract, which, consolidates the Company’s relationship with Harley-Davidson after the launch, three years ago, of a small supply for the VRSC platform, and sends the American manufacturer soaring into the top ranks of the Motorcycle Division’s customers, alongside Ducati, Bmw and KTM.

For the company’s flagship Touring, an innovative solution known as “ONE PIN”, has been patented and has enabled Brembo to eliminate high-pitched braking noise. The big leap forward is that an integrated disc/master cylinder/calliper package has been developed, which has improved braking comfort on Harley-Davidsons enormously, and reduced vibrations almost to zero.
