Brembo's policy is as follows:
- To establish with Suppliers who offer the best abilities in terms of innovation, time to market, cost, service and quality ("zero defects" objective) to ensure that the customers are fully satisfied;
- To concentrate purchases on a limited number of first-rate Suppliers [...];
- To aim for the minor total cost of the supplies, by considering not only the price, but also the cost of quality, innovation and service, with relation to the performances required for the purchased product;
- To involve the Suppliers in its Environmental Management System in order to reduce the environmental impact of all activities that take place on their industrial sites;
- To be connected exclusively with Suppliers which have the Quality System certification according to the Automotive standards [...] released by an accredited Certification body [...];
- In evaluating the Suppliers, to privilege those with a certified Environmental Management System (ISO 1400 certification);
- To establish relations between Brembo and the Suppliers which are always based on the integrity and rigor of both parties.
