Kilometro Rosso Science Park - created with the intent of favoring the growth of a technology park incorporating knowledge, innovation and high technology - is a meeting point for companies with a strong propensity towards innovation, scientific instruction, and research and design in the most evolved of business sectors.

Kilometro Rosso has been launched on the technology highway of the most successful of scientific parks. Since its inception three years ago, it has insured - through formal agreemnts - the attraction and installation of considerable Research and Design initatives, combined with hi-tech and advanced services production agreements, that has allowed it to boast the hosting of almost 1,500 Research and Design specialists by end of 2007.

But the development prospectives are even more ambitious: within 8-10 years, the Park will host within its confines almost 3,000 employees (researchers and highly-qualified personnel), and about 50-70 companies, research centres, and laboratories.

Each concern operating in the Park will be put in the best conditions to better develop all potential synergies, collaborations and business contacts in its individual best interest, and will be able to exploit a wide variety of services ranging from municipal services, material services (on both a logistic and an organisational level ), and intangible services, such as consultancy and assistance, training, and promotion and support.

Kilometro Rosso is also making its mark as a multidisciplinary system - a campus that values functional institutional diversity - using interdisciplinary methods to reach new frontiers in science and technology.

This is why Kilometro Rosso's multi-sector and integrational knowledge advantages - already present in the Park since its inception - come from various sectors and disciplines.
