2010 World Championships

Just like every year, Brembo will provide with its high performance braking systems most of the racing teams that will take part in the Formula1, MotoGp and Superbike’s 2010 world championships.
After last year’s Formula1 championship, won by the Brawn-GP racer  Jenson Button, the 2010 season will include a new track in South Korea and the already known Canadian track in Montreal.
In MotoGP, the Yamaha-rider Valentino Rossi won his seventh world title in 2009. As for the 2010 season, the Great Britain Gran Prix will move to Silverstone, while the Hungarian track in Balatonring will make its return to the championship. 
There are few relevant news as regards the Superbike championship, won by the American racer Ben Spies last year: most of the calendar is unchanged, apart from the Qatar’s track which has been excluded.

New line of urban helmets

November 2009 - Brembo and Newmax presented the new urban helmets for motorcyclists and scooter riders with the Brembo brand, developed in cooperation by two companies.

Brembo helmets are designed to enhance safety, comfort and design and present innovations for the target market, above all in the new types of Automatic Fit Belt fastening of the helmet and the form of the visors.
To facilitate this extremely important safety operation, Brembo helmets have a continuous strap that ends in a winding device: in this way the motorcyclists simply press a single button and will be able to make the strap adhere perfectly to the chinrest.

December 2009 - Brembo is present with its brakes in the new videogames Need For Speed SHIFT  and Forza MotorSport3, which have been recently brought out.

Brembo provided  most of the renowned cars feauturing with its high performance braking systems, making the driving experience even more exciting for the players.
All racing games fans will can live an incredible and a spectacular driving experience with real racing cars and astonishing emotions that deliver a true driver's experience: a really great mix of speed and reality!

Brembo foundry in China

15 January 2010 - Brembo buys foundry in Nanjing to build a new integrated industrial hub.

• The project will require investments of approximately €50 million over the next four years.

• The objective is to triple the production of brake discs and callipers for the Chinese market by 2013.

Today, Brembo Nanjing Foundry Co. Ltd. and Donghua Automotive Industrial Co. Ltd (part of the Saic Group, China's top manufacturer of cars and commercial vehicles) finalised agreements for the purchase of foundry plants and equipment.
